Case Study: The Chicago Charity Challenge
The 'heart' behind the Chicago Charity Challenge was to engage employees in meaningful activities by setting up a corporate/charity partnership (team) to compete for funds raised and time volunteered, so we chose a 'Jester' Archetype and shortened the name to "The Chicago Cha Cha" to keep it lively and fun. We signed up 20 teams the first year (over $6M raised and 200,000+ course volunteered), so the content had to simple, concise, articulate the complexities of the competition, and engage the listener.
Website Design and Strategy
The website content needed to be clear, consistent, and inspiring. The home page did the heavy lifting and explained the concept, all the rules, and benefits and prizes. To keep the competition exciting and the employees engaged, we created a variety of programs and events to raise awareness and help teams contribute to their charity partners.
Print Collateral and Experiential Marketing
The Chicago Cha Cha had a recognizable presence online and in-person with the addition of brochures, print ads, Public Service Announcements, billboards, an online auction, and branded merchandise. The offline experience always supported the energy and integrity of the brand.
